4th Date of the Kolbi Costa Rica Surf Tournament Happens April 14-15 With the Best Surfers of the Country

The fourth date of the Kolbi National Surf Tournament takes place this weekend April 14 and 15 at Santa Teresa in the Gulf of Nicoya and has the confirmed presence of the best surfers in the country.

Leilani McGonagle, Carlos Muñoz, Noe Mar McGonagle, Tomas King, Leonardo Calvo and Jason Torres all made a pause in their international agenda to participate in the Condominio Arenas Cup that will also have figures such as Anthony Fillingim, Jair Perez and Olman Morales.

“Santa Teresa is one of my favorite beaches in Costa Rica. Fun waves, delicious food, and being able to compete with all my friends. I am very excited to take part of this stop of the Kolbi Circuit”, said Leilani McGonagle, the best ranked Costa Rican in the WQS after her win in Barbados.

The U18 category will have Malakai Martinez, Coral Wiggins, Eva Woodland, Camila Summers, Paulina Summers, Aaron Ramirez and Sam Reidy, surfers that have also taken part in different international events in their category.

Jim Hogan, trainer of the National Surfing Team will also travel to Santa Teresa to evaluate the level and abilities of the athletes.

The event expects to reach 150 registered competitors.
