On Sunday, more than 500,000 motorcyclists rode into Washington, DC as the annual Rolling Thunder “Ride for Freedom” Rally over the Memorial Day weekend got under way with presidential candidate Republican New York billionaire Donald Trump as the keynote speaker at the Lincoln Memorial.

First organized in 1988 with 3,000 bikers, the event draws attention to veteran’s issues, POWs and limiting America’s participation in future wars protecting counties like Iraq and Afghanistan that hate the United States of America.

In his comments, Trump said the U.S. treats illegal immigrants better than its veterans. Veterans have long complained about long waiting times to get into some Veterans Administration (VA) Hospitals and for doctor’s appointments. Across America, thousands of veterans are homeless and living on the streets, suffering from an array of mental disorders brought on by the horrors of war.

“We’re not going to allow that to happen any longer,” Trump said to thousands of cheering supporters. “If there’s a wait we’re going to give the right for those people to go to a private doctor or even a public doctor and get themselves taken care of and we’re going to pay the bill.”

On radical Islamic terrorists, Trump said he would “knock the hell out of them” while strengthening the U.S. military across the board.

He also spoke about his plan to overhaul the VA from top to bottom.

Meanwhile, on June 7, the California Primary will be decided along with election primaries in five other states: New Jersey, South Dakota, New Mexico, Iowa, and Montana.

The nation is still shaking its head over a proposed debate in California between Democratic Socialist Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and Trump. This crazy idea first appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last week when Trump was a guest on the late-night comedy show. Trump accepted Sanders’ challenge to a debate before the California Primary, but a few days later Trump backed out saying the debate would not be appropriate.

It’s a safe bet some of Trump’s advisers told him not to go through with the Sanders debate, just like in the movie Rocky II when they told Heavyweight Champion of the World Apollo Creed not to fight that southpaw from the streets of Philly.

For former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Sanders, they are campaigning across California in fever pitch to drum up support. Clinton only needs a few dozen delegates to secure the Democratic nomination for president, while Sanders is way behind in delegates; he hopes to win California and cast a long shadow over the upcoming national convention in July in Philadelphia. Democrats will be forced to look at national polls that show Sanders beating Trump by an average of 53 percent to 36 percent, while Clinton is neck and neck with Trump and may even lose to Trump.

The political drama between Sanders and Clinton is a high-stakes affair. The Clinton campaign continues to demand that Sanders withdraw. Polls by the Public Policy Institute of California show Clinton only two points ahead of Sanders.

Watching all of this political drama on stateside news from Costa Rica are a bunch of gringos that gather daily at the Beatle Bar in Jaco Beach to drink a few beers, discuss politics and yell at the TVs. One of these gringos is Hugo Hackery (a pen name), who always has a unique take on what’s happening politically in the U.S. Here’s is his latest opinion

So another week in the books for the wackiest political races in our short 240-year history…. Now when you see Hillary Clinton trying to use the victim-hate card on me because I am a woman card, just think back to all the damage that she has caused with the hateful slander for decades. Clinton politics leaves scorched earth in its wake. So folks just remember anytime Clinton tries to play the “he hates women” card for saying anything negative about her that all she does is slander others. Plus Libby Nation has no need for the facts, so they just sling the wild accusations of the day.

 

Now her latest one is on Trump, whose job is real estate, when interviewed and he said that if the market does crash, it is very good for his biz. HHMMMM??

 

That is like going to middle America and seeing farmers in the local diner, having breakfast before a full day on the farm. Flo the waitress gives a refill on their coffees as they speak about the work of the day. She interjects– “Boys, they be sayin’ that it’s gonna be a wet summer this year.”

 

The four men at the table all beam with joy as that means a great crop. Easier work with less time watering. More bankable funds to protect for the future. Better life for his family’s future.

 

Now, Trump also knew why the country was going to crash. It was because of “Bubba” Clinton and Barney Frank for making sure that the banks gave loans with NO NO AND NO. That meant: No money down. No needed proof of income. No one denied [referring to the subprime mortgage loans of the early 21^st century, which were also called NINJA loans, as in: No Income, No Job, and no Assets]. Yet they blame the other side for the financial meltdown. Now Clinton is claiming that Trump is a bad man for seeing the market that he is involved in, turning in his favor. They were done in by Clinton and her husband. Even though she held no office during the reign of Bubba, she was the most hands-on First Lady in the history of the country. Then Liz Warren gets up there and screams that it was not politically correct to say these things and to think that way. Yet there she was flipping houses to the best of her financial ability during the same down turn.

Clinton keeps trying to come up with more slander on Trump. Yet he is becoming even more Teflon Trump by the week. She is guilty of so many wrongdoings as Secretary of State. This alone should [disqualify her], and yet the least transparent Obama Administration is far more interested in restrooms for transgenders in schools. I went to a school with 3,600 students and do not remember having one. So I am wondering where are these huge numbers of these kids are that need all this attention.

But this is to distract from the felonies of Clinton. This is far more important to the U.S. Department of Justice than the blatantly rash actions by Clinton with national security.

So a recap here. Put a transgender porta-potty in every high school that requests one. OK! Done deal.

Clinton had no regard for the rules and laws as Secretary of State and she cares not about national security!!?? The Left just boggles my mind. Still not ODD to anyone yet?”
