The eleventh edition of the X-Knights, one of three most important events in its category, is coming to Costa Rica on March 18.

The freestyle motorcycle competition is one of the most expected sporting events every year in Costa Rica, since it gathers some of the most renown exponents of this discipline worldwide.
This time around it will have the participation of the X-Knights two-time champion, Frenchman Tom Pagés, known for his tricks and back flips. Also, Australian Clinton Moore, currently considered the best ranked rider in the world and winner of the winner of last year’s X-Knights. From Spain, Maikel Melero, three-time world champion and one of the favorites of the Costa Rican audience.

Many other talented riders that are ranked in the top spots in the different events around the globe will also be competing with the purpose of taking this year’s crown, among them: Josh Sheehan from Australia; Taka Higashino from Japan; Javier Villegas from Chile; Jeremy Rouanet from France, and also from Spain, Danny Torres.

The X-Knights as usual will include a BMX competition, and some of the big name participants are already confirmed, including: World number 1 Kevin Peraza from the USA; Spanish Xavi Pasamonte; and the two-time X-Knight champion representing Costa Rica, Kenneth Tencio.

The X-Knights event will be held for second year in a row at the National Stadium, and it will feature 4 ramps located to the sides to ensure that the attending audience doesn’t miss any detail of the action. It is produced by RPM TV Costa Rica and it is regarded worldwide for its quality and the level of competition. In 2010, RPM TV took the event to Panama and currently they have plans of taking it to other countries in South America.

Pre-sale of tickets will begin January 15th and will extend through the 17th; American Express cardholders can start purchasing their tickets January 18th and through the 25th. The general public can purchase tickets starting on the 25th.
