The home and construction expo, highly regarded in Latin America and the only fair of its kind officially backed by the Costa Rican Construction Chamber, will take place once again at the Pedregal Event Center in San Antonio de Belen starting Wednesday, February 15 and will extend through Sunday, February 19.

Residential projects, condominiums and land properties will be part of what the fair will be offering.

230 companies, and close to 730 stands featuring different products and services related to the construction industry as well as real estate projects and a total of 15 banking institutions will take part of this year’s expo.

This is the 19th edition of the event that gathers professionals in the area such as engineers, architects, designers, real estate developers, contractors, etc.

In total, 150 residential projects will be showcased, with prices ranging from $15 thousand USD to $1.5 million USD.

Those that attend the event on Wednesday can do so for free, public attending on Thursday or Friday will have to pay ¢1.000 ($2 USD) and for those going on Saturday or Sunday the entrance fee will be of ¢2.000 colones.

During the fair the banks offer excellent credit/financing conditions for those looking to buy a house.

If you are interested in buying a home taking advantage of the pre-sale conditions and prices at the Expo, experts recommend that you take your time to do a background check on the developer, find out how many other projects they’ve been involved with and ask as many questions as needed regarding the financing conditions and terms of purchase.
