The Costa Rican Wine Expo (ExpoVino) has become a highly expected event, as more and more wine bars and wineries open doors in the country, a large part of the population learn more about the rich culture of wine and learn to appreciate this delicious drink, its wonderful properties and the secrets behind a great wine.

The Wine Expo will take place October 18 through October 20, this is the sixth edition of the event that once again will take place at the Pedregal Event Center in San Antonio de Belén, Heredia.

The first day will be open exclusively for institutional buyers, restaurants, hotels, and professionals in the industry, the 19th and 20th the event will open doors to the general public from 3 p.m. through 7 p.m.

Wine from different regions in the world, tastings and sampling, workshops and conferences, special prices, accessories, are part of the attractions of this Expo.

In order to attend the tastings which will be offered by expert oenologists and cellar representatives, prior reservation will be required. More than 80 wine distributors and producers from all around the world will be showcasing their different wine varieties and offering their main cellars.
