Cinepolis in Terramall inaugurates today its second movie theater specially designed for children.

The “Sala Junior” is a movie theater that incorporates different attractions for young children, these include a playground, slides, balls pool, among other safe areas for kids to enjoy.

The idea of these space is that parents can take their kids to the movies without having to worry about them getting tired and distracted during the movie; a break is offered right at the middle of the movie so children can stretch out, use the bathroom, play or get snacks, kids can use the playground before the start of the movie.

The first movie theater with this concept was opened at Terrazas, Lindora.

“Families will have an entirely different experience since it’s a concept designed to allow parents and their children to enjoy going to the movies together. They have the opportunity to choose if they seat in comfortable regular theater armchairs, or sofa-bed style chairs or puffs, in addition to different play areas”, states the press release.

In order to use the playground children must be under 4.2 feet tall. Once the movie is over kids can no longer use the playground.
