17 of Costa Rica’s best chefs will be preparing delicious dishes during the gastronomy fair Juntos por Costa Rica (Together for Costa Rica) on Friday, November 10 at the Campo Lago Club in Lindora, Santa Ana; all proceeds to benefit those affected by tropical storm Nate.
The attending public will be able to visit the stands with different options of food, from vegetarian dishes to deliciously prepared meat and seafood and of course dessert.
Different beer, wine & spirits, will also be available.
“Juntos por Costa Rica, is an idea of chef Sebastián La Rocca with the only purpose of raising funds for the victims of tropical storm Nate in Costa Rica who are still suffering the effects a month after the heavy rain”, explained Lucía Campos, one of the organizers of the activity.
The gastronomy fair involves a total of 25 companies in the food and beverage industry that are donating products to make this event a reality.
Among the participating chefs are: José Pablo González (Al Mercat);Camille Ratton (Kalú); Marco Antonio Ganoza (La Divina Comida); Andrés Sandoval (Gallo Rojo); Federico Lizano (Maza Bistro); Paulo Valerios (la Ventanita Meraki), to mention a few.
Tickets are for sale as of Monday, October 30 at Taller Gastronómico El Punto, Raw Co., Al Mercat and Kalú; prices are of ¢15,000 which includes 3 “bocas” (small size dishes) and 2 beverages, the VIP ticket has a cost of ¢25,000 and is an all you can eat plus 3 beverages. The event will run from 7 p.m. through 10:30 p.m.
