Primo Entertainment, the production company in charge of bringing the Cirque du Soleil show “Sep7imo Día- No Descansaré” to Costa Rica, officially announced the ticket prices and dates they’ll go on sale.

According to the press release, tickets will be available starting at ¢25,000 (approximately US$45.00) and the most expensive location will run ¢100,000 (approximately US$178.6), for the first time in their shows, Cirque du Soleil will have a standing area right in front of the stage and the cost for this location is of ¢37,000 (close to US$66.00).
The show will have several presentations starting February 14 and through February 25 at Hacienda Espinal in Alajuela every day at 8 p.m. except for Saturdays February 17 and February 24 when they will offer two shows, one at 4 p.m. and the regular one at 8 p.m. and Sundays February 18 and February 25 will have an additional presentation at 3 p.m. and the night show will be at 7 p.m.

American Express cardholders will have priority to purchase their tickets starting this Friday, November 24 and through November 26; then comes the turn for BAC-Credomatic cardholders that will be able to get their tickets November 27 – November 30 and finally starting December 1st, the tickets will be available for all other methods of payment.

Those that want the VIP experience can opt for the Experiencia Soda Stereo a special ticket that will have first-row sitting, red carpet, a souvenir, two courtesy drinks and food and additional beverages service available during the show, the cost for this is of ¢171,000 (approximately US$305.00).

The show Sép7imo Día – No Descansaré (Seventh Day – I won’t rest) inspired by the music and lives of Argentine rock trio Soda Stereo. made its debut this 2017 in Argentina and is the first Cirque du Soleil production based on a Latin band; the entertainment company has already produced in the past artist inspired shows with tributes to Michael Jackson, The Beatles, and Elvis Presley.

Soda Stereo was formed in 1982 and quickly gained a lot of popularity in the late 1980’s and 1990’s in Argentina and Latin America, the band was formed by frontman Gustavo Cerati (who passed away in 2014 after spending four years in a coma product of a stroke), drummer Charly Alberti and bass player Hector “Zeta” Bosio.; Soda Stereo is considered one of the most influential Latin American bands of all time.
