The 2018 edition of the Tamarino Art Wave Festival “En-light” comes loaded with art, music and entertainment.
The vibrant beach town is ready to offer visitors and residents an exciting weekend on January 25 through January 27.
As usual local and foreign artist, close to 200 in total, will be showcasing their talent; a gigantic art piece shaped as a fish and made with recycled materials will “embellish and enrich Tamarindo’s identity”; while different art pieces will be on display at the Gallery Collection; visual artist Alissa Christine will be creating 3D art and Corean Lee Kyungho will impress with his video art.

This year’s Tamarindo Art Wave Festival will be the biggest one so far, and will offer a total of 15 live shows.
Art spaces will open at noon while the beachfront Swell Stage will be offering concerts by different national singers and dancers starting at 6 p.m. Among the invited artists is Concert with Costa Rican singer songwriter Debi Nova, who was recently nominated to a Latin Grammy award.

Workshops are also an important part of the Tamarindo Art Wave Festival from serigraphy and creation of characters, to percussion, many options are available.

Kids will also have a space for their enjoyment.

The Tamarindo Art Wave Festival was created by a non-profit organization created by a group of art lovers with the purpose of consolidating an Art Center where the community members can express themselves through diverse techniques of visual arts, showcase their work and at the same time inspire others and offer an option of artistic entertainment to the many tourists that visit this beach town.
