The first edition of Perro Cross Camping will take place March 10 and 11, confirmed the organizers.

Perro Cross usually organizes cross-country competitions with dogs, but this time they are inviting dog owners to a fun camping experience in the estate “La Lucha” located in San Cristobal Norte, Desamparados.

The idea is that those interested in participating register before March 5, they can take part in the camp for both days or only Sunday morning and can choose to bring their own tent or rent a tent or room.

¨We want to create options for dog lovers, with the idea that these events help owners and dogs build their bond while being in contact with nature¨, explained Alvaro Saenz, organizer.
La Lucha is a beautiful estate located 2000 meters above sea level, it is covered with forest has different trails and a lake.

The event starts Saturday, March 10 at 2 p.m. and finishes Sunday, March 11, at noon. Guided walking tours both days, a campfire, dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday for humans and dogs along with a short talk where participants will learn all about emergency care and first aid information for dogs.

To register send an email to [email protected] with information on the number of people and dogs that will participate, the size of the dogs and select the package you want to pay for, the complete experience, staying on Saturday night and renting a tent has a cost of 28 thousand colones (approximately $50.00) for one person and one dog.
