“Dracula” will once again delight the audience in six dates at the National Theater in Costa Rica.

This play had several presentations during 2017 at the Espressivo Theater, and due to its success it returns this year for all those who didn’t get a chance to see it or want to see it again. Directed by Luis Carlos Vasquez, and showcasing the talent of renowned Costa Rican actress Silvia Baltodano and Argentinian Francisco Ortiz, this play had its first presentation on Friday, March 2 and will take the stage again on March 3,9 and 10 at 8p.m. and March 4 and 11 at 5 p.m.

“Dracula, the legend of the living dead, relives in a poetic staging filled with light and darkness, charged with beauty and symbolism. This version of the play that debuted in 1928 is an adaptation of the famous novel Dracula by Bram Stocker. Without going far from the horror genre, director Luis Carlos Vasquez proposes a staging according to the beginning of the XXI century, in other words, more conceptual”, explains the press release.

The presentation also has an incredible visual richness, accomplished by a quality visual arts work. Wardrobe selection, scenery, visuals and sounds make of this play an immersive experience.
