U.S. actor and filmmaker Mark Ruffalo, famous for his role as Hulk in Marvel’s Avengers , but whose face is known from roles in many other movies since the late 90’s, has been spending some of his time in Costa Rica, more specifically in the beautiful area of Santa Teresa in Cobano, Puntarenas.
This is the second time the actor visits Costa Rica, this time in the company of his oldest daughter.
The actor expressed to Costa Rican journalist Laura Rodriguez that he is “in love with the surf, the people and the food in Costa Rica”. He was also seen sharing with locals in the waterfalls of Montezuma.
The 50 year-old actor, native from Wisconsin but who resides in New York, has appeared in moves such as 13 Going on 30 (along with Jennifer Gardner in 2004), What Doesn’t Kill You (2008), The Kids Are All Right, and of course, The Avengers (2012), Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor: Ragnarok, and his latest and soon to be released Avengers: Infinity War.
Ruffalo who is also a climate change advocate, made his last post in social media on March 1st and stated he would be “cutting back” “to focus on a few things”. The actor will leave the country next Friday.
The beautiful area of Cobano in the Nicoya Peninsula, Puntarenas, offers visitors amazing surf and a laid back beach community.
