Pink pigs that appeared in different areas of San Jose, created expectation among fans during the weekend, and the concert has not officially been confirmed, Roger Waters will be offering a concert in Costa Rica November 24 at the National Stadium.

The former bass player, singer and songwriter of the band Pink Floyd, confirmed the news through social media. The production company Move Concerts is in charge of the presentation in Costa Rica and informed that Waters comes with his complete band and the show includes an incredible set up.

Tickets will go on sale May 7 (pre-sale for Amex and Credomatic cardholders on April 30) through the online platform www.eticket.cr.

This is the first presentation in Costa Rica and in Central America the 74-year-old artist will make.

According to Andrés Guanipa, director of Move Concerts, bringing the show to the country wasn’t easy due to their requirements; in fact, members of Waters’ team visited the country some months ago to evaluate the conditions of the National Stadium which was the only venu that met the requirements of their stage and setup.

“They needed to confirm that the show could be set up there, because it’s huge. In the world there isn’t another show with a bigger technical production than the Roger Waters’ show. It doesn’t exist”, assured Guanipa.

“The legendary live shows of Roger Waters are recognized as immersive sensorial experiences that offer a last generation audiovisual production and an impressive quadruple sound”, explains the press release.

The sections at the stadium will be labeled with names of some of the most famous songs or albums that Waters recorded with Pink Floyd in the 70’s. Waters is labeled as the “Creative Genius” of Pink Floyd.

This stop in Costa Rica is part of Waters’ Us + Them Tour; Waters will be performing songs from The Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Animals, Whish You Were Here and also songs from his newest album “Is This the Life We Really Want?”.
