Animatronic Dinosaurs Take Over the Children’s Museum in Costa Rica

Children in Costa Rica are enjoy their mid-term vacation period and it is the perfect time to visit the Children’s Museum in San Jose, where a new exhibit presents 16 animatronic dinosaurs that offer an incredible Jurassic experience.

Family photo booth, activities and interactive devices, complete the exhibit “Jurassic Expedition – An Adventure Among Giants – that opens today (June 30) and will be available through August 30.

“We know dinosaurs are a topic that children love. It is for this reason that we have been working for over ten months in the production of this Jurassic Expedition”, commented Monica Rivera, Executive Director of the Children’s Museum.

A total of 14 different “sets” decorated accordingly, showcase the 16 dinosaurs that move and make sounds, fossil replicas and a space named the “Laboratory of Science and Paleontology Investigation of the Children’s Museum”, interactive applications, Dino pets, photo booth, souvenir shop and more await the children.

Families will also be able to live a unique experience, the Museum has also organized 6 nights (July 5,6,7,12,13 and 14) were families can enjoy a Nighttime Jurassic Expedition. Visitors will be taken in a night guided tour of the dinosaur exhibit.

During the vacation period the Museum will open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors can choose to experience only the Jurassic Expedition, just the regular exhibits or both.
