If you are planning to travel to or from Paquera or the touristic areas of Tambor, Santa Teresa, Montezuma, this Tuesday, July 24, be advised that the ferry service will be suspended all day.

According to the information posted by Naviera Tambor, the suspension will only be effective on the date mentioned due to maintenance work scheduled by the Ministry of Public Work and Transportation (MOPT).

An alternative service will be offered with four smaller boats that will leave from Los Platanos dock between 7 and 11 am and then between 3 and 6 p.m.

The Puntarenas-Paquera ferry will go back to its normal operation on Wednesday, July 25. This ferry offers transportation from Puntarenas to Paquera in 6 schedules, 5 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m. ,2p.m. 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.) and from Paquera to Puntarenas at 5:30 a.m. , 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
