The total number of patients affected by Covid-19 in Costa Rica went from 50 to 69 in the last 24 hours, the age range of the patients goes from 8 to 87 years of age and includes 30 women, 39 men, 63 are Costa Rican and 6 foreigners.

A total of 855 cases have been discarded.

The Minister of Health, Daniel Salas, insisted in the importance of taking matters seriously,

“We have to be serious in the way we are facing this, today the World Health Organization said we must attend the quarantine, we have to maintain the measures taken. We still do not have a scenario where we have a lot of cases, but the number is raising and will continue to grow in the upcoming weeks. We have called on people to stay at home, that they do not have contact in meetings, public places, but unfortunately we see a trend where despite this a lot people are taking this as vacation to go around all over the place. I call, with all due respect, to act responsibly.”,    said Salas.
