Britt Group continues to grow in Costa Rica and with the purpose of strengthening the business it has divided into two divisions, Café & Chocolates Britt (Britt Coffee & Chocolates) and Morpho Travel Retail.
Café & Chocolates Britt will continue handling everything that has to do with the coffee and chocolate products with concepts such as the Britt Espresso, Chocolatería Britt Café & Bakery, CoffeeTour, among others, with the lead of CEO Philippe Aronson.
Morpho Travel Retail will take over all businesses targeted to travelers, such as BrittShop, Morpho, Travel Zone, Travel Market, X-Plora ooks, EmeraldMe, Rumbo Sur and Mercadito Gourmet from the hand of CEO Adriana Echandi.
Pablo Vargas is taking the position of Executive Chairman and Eduardo Cascante maintains his position as CFO.
The division will allow each company to develop their own strategic plan which includes expansion over the next five years with the purpose of conquering new markets in Latin and North America as well as Southeast Asia.
Britt Group expects an annual growth of 12.5% which translates into sales volume of US$300 million, an amount under the average they’ve had in the past five years.
Britt was founded 25 years ago and currently has operations in 13 countries.
