The Judiciary Investigative Police in Costa Rica (OIJ) requires the help of the public with providing any information they may have on the whereabouts of Canadian citizen James Hogg.
According to the information provided, Hogg is an expat living in the area of Quepos, Puntarenas area and was last seen last this past December. He is 70 years of age.

This is the third case this year of senior foreigners who have gone missing in the country.
Earlier this month, the police in Costa Rica also released the information on German tourist, Gerlinde Hahne, 75 years-old, who dissapeared in the area of Montezuma in Cobano, Puntarenas.
Hahne was visiting the country with the purpose of attending her son’s wedding. She was last seen on May 3rd when she went for a walk in the community of Las Delicias, between Montezuma and Cobano.
Back in February, the police informed of a Spanish man, resident of California went missing in Costa Rica, Manuel Alvarez, a senior citizen (74), is the owner of several properties in Costa Rica, he entered the country in January 10 because his lawyers called him to inform that someone was fraudulently attempting to sell (or had sold) one of his properties and had apparently forged his signature. His family last heard from him on February 2.
