Southwest Airlines announced yesterday a sale on nonstop flights to and from San José, Costa Rica during their winter season which starts November 5.

Grab a low fare to the Miami area (via Ft. Lauderdale), to Houston (Hobby), and/or Baltimore/Washington, DC (BWI), with some new nonstop routes being offered, and some great advance fares.

Current daily nonstop Southwest service between both Liberia and San José, Costa Rica (SJO) and BWI lasts until August 14. Then, Saturday direct service to and from BWI commences November 5, lasting until March 7, 2018, according to the company website.

The airline offers service to three Central American cities, Liberia (LIR) and San José (SJO) – both in Costa Rica; and Belize City.

Daily nonstop service to and from Houston (HOU), Texas and both Costa Rica airports lasts from now until March 7, 2018.

And daily direct service to and from Ft. Lauderdale (FLL), FL will run from November 5 until March 7

On the BWI and FLL routes, the airline stops their direct service from August 15 and Nov. 4, which is the official green, or rainy, season in Costa Rica, and low tourist season for North American travelers.
