A Christmas Carol, the famous novel by Charles Dickens which tells the story of Evenezer Scrooge the old greedy man that is visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future is a classic Christmas story, one that is enjoyed by both children and adults, and can now be seen in Costa Rica at the Espressivo Theater in Pinares, Curridabat.
This is the sixth year that the adaptation of A Christmas Carol is presented in Costa Rica, and it will be available through December 25, with presentations every Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The character of Evenezer Scrooge is brought to life by the experienced Carlos Alvarado, who has had this role three years in a row; while the rest of the cast includes the participation of Ana Clara Carranza, Melvin Jimenez, Johnny Obando, Fiorella Bakit (piano) and Laura Ramirez (professional singer).

Tickets have a cost of ȼ12,000.00 for VIP which includes a courtesy beverage and ȼ10,000.00 general entry.
“This is a story to reflect on our actions towards others, to understand that material things are cold, absurd and takes us away from love and compassion. This is a proposal to reflect as a family, laugh, and enjoy”, expressed Cristina Bruno and Gustavo Sanchez, in charge of the staging.
