U.S. computer programmer Nora Roth, has boldly claimed that “Jesus will come back to Earth and incite the rapture” at the end of December, reported aol.com this week.

Her calculations are explained on her website, Mark of the Beast, where she asks the wild questions, “Are 6,000 years of sin almost over? Will Jesus come in 2016?”

Using the 70 “sevens” prophecy from the Book of Daniel, Roth believes that ”sevens” refer to Jubilee cycles. Seventy Jubilee cycles equal 3,431 years, which, according to the Bible, marks the second coming of Jesus. And according to Roth, the 3,431 years are set to end this year, said aol.com.

Roth believes, “The Bible presents enlightening, logical, and compelling answers to these questions,” reported aol.com.

“In the fall of 2016 the 6,000 years of sin on earth will come to an end, everlasting righteousness will be brought in, and Jesus will come again to take His people to heaven,” Roth said. “Then the earth will begin its 1,000 years of rest.”
