SIGN UP FOR OUR 
With the objective of expanding bilateral cooperation in a number of areas relating to “human capital development,” the Costa Rican government signed this week a memorandum of understanding with Minnesota State University – Mankato, in the midwestern U.S.
“I am honored to sign this agreement with the government of Costa Rica…we look forward to strengthening our existing partnerships and providing new opportunities for sharing in the areas of education, economic development, industry, academic research, and culture. We recognize the broader benefits of internationalization, and share common goals,” said Marilyn J. Wells, from the university in Mankato.
The agreement will support student and professor exchanges, as well as opportunities for employees in governmental, non-governmental and community organizations to broaden their opportunities through trainings, said Vice President Ana Helena Chacón Echeverría who witnessed the signing.
“We look forward to welcoming Costa Rican government, academic, business and industry leaders to Minnesota State University, Mankato in the coming months and years,” added Wells at the ceremony in San José.
