The Barcelona squad returned to training on Monday after a one-week camp in England, as 10 international players rejoined the workouts. The club’s next major engagement will be La Supercopa de España (Super Cup) against Sevilla FC.

The squad had a rest on Sunday, while Monday’s training saw the return of Spanish internationals Jordi Alba, Andres Iniesta, Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets.

The session also witnessed the reapperance of Argentine Javier Mascherano, Chilean Claudio Bravo, Brazilian Douglas Pereira, Belgian Thomas Vermaelen, Croatian Ivan Rakitic and German Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Barca coach Luis Enrique led the training session on Monday morning, in which several Barcelona B players took part.

The La Liga champions will continue preparations for the preseason friendlies against Leicester on Wednesday in Stockholm, and against Liverpool on Saturday in London.

After the friendly matches, Barcelona will look forward to the Super Cup, a tournament that matches up the winner of La Liga (the top football Spanish League) against the winner of the Copa del Rey.

The Super Cup will kick off at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium in Sevilla on August 14. The second leg of the Super Cup will be decided at Camp Nou in Costa Rica.
