Keylor Navas makes Costa Rica proud once again, the goalkeeper who plays with Spanish team Real Madrid lifted for a second time the UEFA Champions League Cup when Real Madrid beat Italian football club Juventus with a score 1-4.

Although the Real Madrid team had its ups and downs this season, they managed to beat a Juventus that up until today had quite a good run, having received only three goals in the entire tournament.

The UEFA Champions League is the most prestigious annual continental club soccer competition in Europe.

During the first half Juventus was looking desperately for the opportunities to score, in just the first few minutes Navas was tested several times but he was quick to respond and was able to defend his ground.

The first goal for “Los Blancos” was scored by Cristiano Ronaldo with the assistance of Dani Carvajal twenty minutes into the match.

The second goal to tie the score came from Croatian Mario Mandzukic an amazing and unstoppable shot in minute 26.

During the second half the game became more aggressive; however, the energy the Juve showed during the first 45 minutes of the match was not anywhere close to their performance during the second half, Navas had little work to do.

The third goal of the game (second for Real Madrid) was the work of Casemiro.

The two final goals of Real Madrid came from Ronaldo once again and to close Marco Asensio at the 90 minute mark.

Real Madrid and Keylor Navas have a lot to celebrate, as just this past May 21st the team took the Spanish League (La Liga) title.

Navas is expected to fly to Costa Rica this Monday to join the Costa Rica National Soccer Team for its next elimination match against Panama for 2018 World Cup which is scheduled for June 8th.
