American singer, songwriter and actress Demi Lovato had a concert scheduled in Costa Rica May 1st, however, the announcement was made today that the same has been cancelled.

“I’m absolutely heartbroken that I have to make this announcement today… due to production issues, we have to move the South America #tellmeyoulovemetour dates, Ecuador, Costa Rica and Panama. I’m devastated we had to remove those shows. Truly hate that we have to do this and we tried our best to make it happen but there were some unforeseen production issues. If you’re unable to make any of these new dates we will give you a full refund. I’m so sorry. I know this is a bummer. For those who can go, I promise it will be worth the wait and I hope to see you all then. I love you guys so much!”, read the post in Instagram.

Production company SD Concerts, company in charge of bringing the artist to Costa Rica, commented that the decision to cancel came from the Demi Lovato’s team,”something happened in the logistics of the tour and they decided to cancel the shows in these countries”, explained Juan Jose Rojas.

The company also informed that they would be working along with Boleteria.cr, company in charge of the ticket sales, to have a reimbursement plan ready by Thursday, April 12 at 1 p.m.
