Millennials have a different outlook on life, enjoying every day to the fullest is one of their goals, and doing new things and having different experiences are certainly part of the lifestyle of this generation.

If new and amazing experiences is what you are looking for, here’s a few options you might find fun and that are certainly a unique way to explore the wonders Costa Rica offers… but, this time, from the air.

Hot-air ballooning expeditions: Although not many people do it, it certainly is a lot of fun; how many of us can actually say we’ve been on a hot-air balloon? This alternative is available close to the Arenal Volcano in San Carlos, and is usually scheduled in the early hours of the day. The tour takes close to one hour and it’s for a minimum of 2 persons and a maximum of 5. The views are impressive, the balloon will take you over rain forests and close to the tops of the trees, you can see the volcano at a distance, birds, and even monkeys if you get close enough to the tree tops, something you can’t experience with the canopy, the fact that the balloon has a relaxed and steady pace also makes this a very pleasant ride. The balloons used are high quality and they are guided by experienced pilots. The cost is of approximately $385.00 per passenger. If you are interested, you can check out Serendipity Adventures.
