The “Expomóvil 2019” is a traditional car expo event in Costa Rica where different agencies show their newest vehicles and provide discounts, special offers and financing. The car fair began will be open through Match 24 at the Pedregal Event Center in San Antonio de Belén, Heredia.

Assistants will have the opportunity to compare 45 different vehicle brands, and find the best financing options and insurance options.
During 2018 the country imported an approximate 48,000 vehicles, 10,0000 less than in 2017; this year the vehicle companies have the goal of bringing the numbers back up.

This event is also a good opportunity for those looking to invest in commercial box trucks or pick-up trucks for their business, better prices, lower interest rates, maintenance offers are a few of the offers that can be found.

Electric vehicles and hybrids are also part of the attractions offered.

Entrance to the Expomóvil has a cost of 3,000 colones and parking 4,000 colones. Children under 12 years of age and senior citizens can enter free of charge. The fair opens on Sunday from 11 a.m. through 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. through 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.
