The date has been moved several times, but now finally the first Chuck E. Cheese’s in Costa Rica will open doors this Monday, March 19 at Plaza Bratsi. Heredia.

With an investment of $4 million which exceeded the amount originally planned, this first location will be the biggest of the three that are planned to open by 2019 with close to 2000 square meters (21528 square feet) and 60 employees. The franchise is a project of Costa Rican Corporation Alvarez & Marin.

Chuck E Cheese’s is a popular restaurant and entertainment center in the United States, designed for children between the ages of 2-12.

The entertainment center offers ability games, video games and mechanical games, a fun house with tunnels, mirror rooms, and other fun surprises for the little ones.

“Entrance is free of charge, clients can buy tokens to use the games, enjoy the best pizza, sandwiches, chicken wings, salad or coffee; it’s a place for the entire family to visit”, commented Lisette Acosta, General Manager of this Chuck E. Cheese’s

The entertainment center will also offer the option of children’s parties and events.

This Chuck E. Cheese’s will implement the Kid Check system, an invisible seal with the same number for the kid and the adult in charge with the purpose that kids cannot leave the place with anyone else other than the adult that has the matching seal.
