Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen, recently spent a period of ten days on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. According to a news report filed by entertainment reporter Allan Andino of national newspaper La Nacion, the public relations office of the Directorate of Immigration issued a communique indicating that Ms. Bundchen entered the country on June 1st and departed on June 10th.
During her recent stay in Costa Rica, Ms. Bundchen’s Instagram feed was very active. One of her most popular images is attached to this article; it shows the former Victoria’s Secret lingerie model practicing yoga near her mansion in the exclusive beach enclave of Santa Teresa/Malpais. Ms. Bundchen included the following message along with this photo:

Ms. Bundchen, who is married to star quarterback Tom Brady of the New England Patriots of the United States National Football League, has ties to Costa Rica dating back a few years. Their beach property is an example of sustainable home design; it features solar panels and wind-energy generators, as well as a rainwater collection system. Prior to her marriage to Mr. Brady, Ms. Bundchen’s romantic getaways in Costa Rica were in the company of Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio, who is currently developing an eco-resort in Belize.
Mr. Brady and Ms. Bundchen got married at their beach mansion in 2009. During that ceremony, two paparazzi sued members of the couple’s security detail for allegedly shooting at them, something that Mr. Brady denied in an interview with Sports Illustrated. Both Mr. Brady and Ms. Bunchen have increased the frequency and length of their visits to Costa Rica in recent months.
