The coasts of Golfito in the South Pacific received “Crystal Symphony” the first cruise of the 2019-2020 season this past weekend with a total of 639 passengers and 590 crew members aboard.

The Costa Rican Institute of Ports of the Pacific (INCOP) was in charge of the port operation and receiving the ship. The vessel arrived to the coasts of Golfito the morning of October 13th.

Tourists were offered local tours, services and products, “Golfito can brag of its tourism potential, it is a place considered by the tourists as one of their favorite locations for surfing, fishing and adventure. We are aware of this at INCOP and we want the Golfito dock to be more than just a port, a place of connection to all the emotions that can be discovered in the South Pacific”, commented Juan Ramón Rivera, Executive President of INCOP.

“With the purpose of improving the experience that tourists have when they arrive at this port, INCOP is committed to executing several projects that involve a strong investment in infrastructure, which according to data handled by our institution reaches close to $1,240,280.20 USD so far this 2019 in works such as: tourists reception area, replacement of the electric system, fire prevention system and others”, continued Rivera.
