The Guns N’ Roses concert in Costa Rica, brought many back to the 90’s at the rhythm of Welcome to the Jungle, November Rain, Paradise City, Sweet Child of Mine and Knocking on Heaven’s Door, a full National Stadium exploded with emotion, screams and also solidarity.

Since Friday the organization of the event and the band had announced they’d be gathering nonperishable food and other first necessity items to help the victims of Hurricane Otto. The thousands of fans of the band responded to the calling.

Geovanny Sandoval a big fan of Guns N’ Roses posted on his page his interest in exchanging his ticket to the concert for a food for those affected by the hurricane, soon someone responded and the exchange was completed. Geovanny was going to miss the concert he had long waited to witness, but on Saturday afternoon he received a message from Don Stockwell, representative of RPMTV informing him that as a reward for his gesture he was going to attend the concert as his special guest.

Do you know where the f*** you are? Asked a voice that those present at the National Stadium recognized immediately as the chilling screams began, he responded “You’re in the jungle, baby!”, and so Axl and Slash began with the opening song Welcome to the Jungle.

slash1The solo by Slash was one of the highest points in the concert, the iconic figure is a fan favorite without a doubt.

The attending audience sang along with every theme, including the chorus of “Knocking on Heaven’s Doors” which closed an unforgettable concert.
