ExpoCasa y Decoración (House and Décor Expo) kicked off today in Costa Rica and this year it has the participation of 88 real estate developers, 15 financial institutions and 15 home decoration companies, among other exhibitors.

The fair is being held at Kölbi Center in Parque Viva and it will be open through Sunday, August 27.

This is the 16th edition of this highly expected real estate event which attracts close to 25,000 people every year.

Apartments, houses, condominiums, and everything you need for the construction and decoration of your home under one roof along with multiple financial options, special prices, rates and discounts. Insurance companies will also be present offering information on home insurance options.

Participating banks such as BAC San Jose, Scotiabank, DaVivienda, BCR, Banco Popular, to mention a few, are offering credits in colones and dollars with better rates and terms than what you can currently find in the market.

Banco Popular, for instance, is offering rates of 7.75% in colones and 7.5% in dollars, close to ¢7,164 per every million colones and $6,65 for every one thousand dollars; this bank is also offering 118 properties for sale with up to 65% discount and in some cases 100% financing.

For those looking to remodel their home or just want to stay up to date with the latest decoration trends, there will be many alternatives to consider.

Food stands are also available as well as entertainment areas for kids.

For this Friday access to the fair has a cost of only 1 thousand colones and will be open from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.; during the weekend, the cost will be of 2 thousand colones; Saturday the event starts at 10 a.m. and will close doors at 10 p.m.; Sunday is the last day and it will be available from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Parking is available for 3 thousand colones.
