This past week’s escalating violence across the USA from “sea to shining sea” will be the last straw for thousands, perhaps millions of retirees and affluent singles and families sick and tired of the current multi-faceted problems facing America — they will pull up stakes searching for somewhere else to live and enjoy a peaceful life. High on that list of possibilities is Costa Rica.

Without a doubt all the rioting, looting and lawlessness will lead — in coming days — to a dramatic rise in COVID-19 cases in the USA that will inevitably lead to Costa Rica delaying opening its borders and allowing incoming flights from the USA.

Worldwide virus stats prove Costa Rica to be a leader in containing this disease. Allowing incoming flights from the USA at this point in time would be irresponsible, reckless and short-sighted. What’s happening in the USA right now will delay Costa Rica’s recovery, but in the end — Costa Rica will win and prosper just as long as Costa Rica does not suffer its own financial collapse.
