Lady Gaga Will Spend New Years in Costa Rica

The beautiful Guanacaste beaches, the peace of the Costa Rican forests and the amazing weather of this time a year have attracted yet another celebrity that apparently has decided to begin the New Year in Pura Vida style.

Lady Gaga arrived to Costa Rica the night of December 28 through the Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia, Guanacaste, the information was confirmed to The Costa Rica Star  by Costa Rica’s Migration Office.

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, (Gaga’s birth name), apparently is spending her vacation with fiancé Christian Carino.

Gaga offered a concert in Costa Rica once in November of 2012 in a packed National Stadium. The 31-year old singer and songwriter is one of the most famous artists of this era, having sold 27 million albums and 146 million singles she is one of the best-selling music artists and has an estimated net worth of $275 million.

The native of Manhattan, New York has won several Guinness World Records, three Britt Awards, six Grammy Awards, among others. She is also known for her philanthropic work and social activism, she also has a non-profit organization, the Born This Way Foundation which promotes youth empowerment and battles bullying.

Gaga will be starting her world tour “Joanne World Tour” on January 14 with a first stop in Barcelona, Spain. Her documentary series Gaga: Five Foot Two is available in Netflix since September 22.

British actor Christian Bale also arrived in Costa Rica last Thursday with his family and is enjoying the beauty of Guanacaste.
