The latest trend in luxury real estate solutions in Costa Rica is no longer confined to the Central Pacific Coast or the western portion of the Greater San Jose Metropolitan Area (Spanish initials: GAM). The city of Alajuela and its surrounding communities are the new destinations for well-to-do Ticos and expats who are in the market for upscale homes.
According to a new press release published by business news daily La Republica, Grupo Faro is currently developing two luxury neighborhoods located close to the revitalized Downtown Alajuela and the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO).
Colinas del Viento (Windy Hills)
The home sites in this residential development, which is located ten minutes away from the Downtown Alajuela, measure 250 square meters (about 2,700 square feet). The one and two-stories floor plans feature various configurations, which range from three to five bedrooms and two bathrooms. Attractive options include high-end appliances, granite countertops for the kitchen, covered terraces, a barbeque grill in the patio, and more. 24-hour physical and electronic security is included; prices range from $127,700 to $212,355.
Miraloma (Hillside View)
Located just five minutes away from the large Wal-Mart store near SJO, this luxury neighborhood features just 49 residences priced between $100,945 and $145,850. There are five floor plans to choose from, each features two to three bedrooms and an option to add a covered terrace or an enclosed garage. The amenities in this gated neighborhood include green areas and a playground for children. Additional interior features include sliding glass doors, crown molding, open plan spaces, and others.
