Mainstream media has become the ‘enemy of the people’ as they collude with the Democrats in Washington, DC to continue their war upon the Trump Administration in ways that are impossible to deny. Many are saying that honest, fair and unbiased journalism is dead and they are right.
Media studies continue to show that media coverage of the Trump Administration remains at 92-percent negative. Other studies show that only 7.1 percent of professional journalists now claim to be Republican while the other 92.9-percent claim to some form of Democrat – moderate to far-left – or Independent.
“… The broadcast networks have continued to pound Donald Trump and his team with the most hostile coverage of a president in TV news history – 92% negative versus just 8% positive,” says the Investor’s Business Daily.
The latest mantra coming from mainstream media and the mouths of Democrats concerning President Donald Trump is that his first Oval Office address to the nation amounted to creating a “manufactured crisis” concerning the ongoing situation at the southern border with Mexico that is overrun with illegal immigrants attempting to enter the USA anyway they can. To call that situation ‘fake’ is beyond the pale and purely political.
Just as soon as the official Democratic response came in — right after Trump’s address to the nation – both the Speaker of the House and the Senate minority leader labeled Trump’s desire for $5.6-million for building a border wall a “manufactured crisis.” Every mainstream media outlet ran with that phrase repeating it over and over. Every lefty started saying the same thing as if someone sent a memo ordering them to do so. First Trump’s border wall was described as “immoral” and now it’s a “manufactured crisis.”
Lately most news coverage these days is something about the ongoing partial government shut down over President Trump’s demand for border wall funding and his feud with the Democratic leadership over their continuing refusal. This stalemate may well lead the president to declare a national crisis at the border and use U.S. federal defense funds to pay for the wall and other border security measures. The debate is raging over whether or not the president has the legal authority, but Trump believes he does.
“I absolutely have the authority to declare a national emergency at the border,” said President Trump this week at the White House. “We are not giving up. We are doing the right thing for the country.”
With all this news coverage devoted to the border: What’s glaringly missing from the news that is overwhelming positive for President Trump? The economy.
“Over four months the Media Research Center watched network TV for all of us, less than 1% of the coverage was on the economy. To be more precise, it was 0.7% of the entire coverage … ,” said IBD. “We’re in the middle of an economic boom we were told by the very same media people was impossible but now this miracle doesn’t warrant coverage.”
This never-ending progressive-far-left slant to political news and views proves that mainstream media has become an ‘enemy of the people.’
