The Kölbi National Surf Tournament kicks off this January 26 and 27 at Dominical Beach with the Envision Festival Surf Cup Dominical 2019.
Once again, the best surfers in Costa Rica will gather to surf one of the biggest waves in the country.

Renown surfers such as Noe Mar McGonagle, and Tomas King, as well as Jair Pérez and Gilbert Brown are some of the figures that will be taking part of this event, Aldo Chirinos, Gabriel Córdoba , Malakai Martínez and André Chacón will also be competing and looking to continue growing their career.

There are over 180 surfers registered for this event, a record number.

The Sunset Party will be back again this year right in front of Tortilla Flats restaurant and those present can also witness the Kainalú Surf Girl contest.

Envision Cup starts at 7 a.m. on Saturday and will carry on through 6 p.m.; the event will close on Sunday at 3 p.m.

The next date of the National Surf Tournament will be Puerto Viejo, Limon on February 23 and 24; in total there will be seven dates this year, the rest of the dates are:

Santa Teresa: April 27 & 28
Avellanas; May 18 & 19
Jacó: June 29 & 30
Hermosa: July 26,27, & 28
