“San Antonio Business Park” is the name of a new office building currently under construction in Heredia that is expected to generate close to 3,200 jobs when it is finalized.

San Antonio Business Park involves the development of 75,000 square meters, four office towers, three open plazas and several green areas. The total investment is of close to $65 million USD; the construction work began in November of 2016 and the first stage should be completed by October 2017.

“It has a privileged location, with access from the provinces of San José, Heredia and Alajuela, it is close to the Juan Santamaría Airport (3 miles), and close to hotels and shopping centers,” expressed engineer Carlos Cerda, Developing Manager of Portfolio Inmobiliario.

The new office building will offer its clients 100% energy back-up system through generators, 24 hour security, access control in offices and elevators; a jogging trail, yoga station and a small gym.

The project strengthens the position of the province as an important corporate center, where different multinational corporations demand office spaces in convenient areas such as Belén.
“Our objective is to form strategic commercial alliances with highly recognized national and international corporations and generate in this way an important source of employment. Under this vision we hope to transform cities and generate memorable experiences for the users”, indicated Cerda.

The San Antonio Business Park expects to get the LEED Silver Certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), which is a third-party certification that ensures a building is environmentally compatible with a high performance green building and that it provides a healthy work environment.

The complex is located in La Ribera de Belén next to DIPO, Portafolio Inmobiliario is in charge of the development of the project while the architectural design is carried out by Liberman Arquitectos and the construction by Bilco de Costa Rica and Traesa.
