Origins Ecolodge is located in the region of Upala in Alajuela, Costa Rica; it recently invested an approximate US $3 million in a complete renovation and is now offering its clients a unique an luxurious experience that involves not only their space and services but also their gastronomy offer.

The hotel is the creation of French investor Thierry Le Goascoz who wanted to create a space inspired by the raw nature of Costa Rica.

The hotel offers “lodges” or private bungalows that blend with nature and include a beautiful canopy bed, a 180° view, a wood-fire heated terrace bath, and an atmosphere that brings together comfort, elegance, art and nature.

Origins also features a 220 square meter villa that accommodates up to nine guests, suspended among the treetops, “Villa Vertigo” includes three private suite bedrooms, large outdoor heated jacuzzi, a totally equipped kitchen and living room. Magnificent views of the mountains, volcanoes and the Nicaragua Lake.

Their restaurant also offers a memorable experience, gastronomy artworks created by Michelin-starred Chef Jean-Luc L’Hourre who takes advantage of locally produced ingredients and gets his inspiration from the amazing scenarios surrounding the hotel and delivers a phenomenal dining experience.
