The Road to Wine is in Costa Rica October 12-13

For all those that enjoy a good glass of wine, October 12 and 13 the event El Camino del Vino (The Road to Wine) will offer over 300 varieties from 60 different countries.

The activity, organized by Florida Wines and Distillate has the goal of promoting the wine culture in Costa Rica, and will have wines from countries known for the quality of this drink as is the case of Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, USA, Spain, Italy and France.

Visitors at the event will be able to sample red, white, rose and sparkling wines, sangrías, and learn from experts about the different varieties of wine and recommendations on wine-pairings.

This is the biggest event of its kind in Costa Rica ideal for wine experts and wine lovers alike.

El Camino del Vino will take place at the Marriot Hotel in Belén, Heredia from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., tickets are available at www.caminodelvino.cr and sell for a regular price of $65.00, BAC Credomatic cardholders will pay $50.00. Entrance includes a special edition glass, sampling of “tapas” and “bocas” (appetizers), valet parking, live music and a 25% discount in all wine bottles during the fair.
