Ronda Rousey is back tonight in UFC 207 Nunes vs. Rousey

This Friday night fans of Mixed Martial Arts have a very special card with UFC 207 which will feature the highly-expected return of Ronda Rousey to the octagon.

“Rowdy”, who we last saw back over a year ago, (November 2015) when she got knocked out by Holly Holm and was forced to take a break due to a broken jaw; she will take on current UFC female bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes this December 30 in Las Vegas.

Brazilian Amanda “The Lioness” Nunes is 5’8”, 135 lbs. has an arm reach of 69” and leg reach of 41”, she is 28 years old and she is a well-rounded fighter who last fought in July when she beat Miesha Tate in a round 1 submission that earned her the belt and the performance of the night award. She is a strong striker and a talented fighter on the ground. She has a record of 13 wins and 4 losses.

Former champion, Rousey, a native from California, USA is 29 years-of-age, 5’7”, 135” has arm reach of 68” and leg reach of 38”, she fights better on the ground, most of her wins have been by submission, but has a decent power, her defense needs work which was evident in her last match-up.

The always controversial Rousey was not present in the media week activities, except for the weigh-in of course, she explained this by saying “I don’t care about anything but winning this fight, I’m not spending energy on anything else”.

She also said to TMZ sports “I don’t care about how this pay-per-view does, I don’t care how much money I make. I don’t care about interviews, and I don’t care about how I look. All I care about is winning my belt back on Friday night and that’s it”.
