In this video by U.S. journalist and videographer Elizabeth Donatelli, she visits the vast Chirripó National Forest of Costa Rica and somehow manages to hike up a cloud forest reserve in her sandals. Then she turns into real estate agent and tries to sell you the amazing Cloudbridge Nature Reserve. For $899,000, it is a bargain; however, absent landowners need not apply: A contractual ownership clause directs the purchaser to respect the primary forest reserve zoning and engage in the rewarding business of reforestation. This isn’t bad at all if you consider that the government of Costa Rica will actually pay for your ecologically-conscious reforestation efforts.

 

Elizabeth has been writing, presenting, and producing video for more than a decade. She is an eight-time Emmy nominee for her stories. She has spent her professional career as a broadcast journalist working in Charlottesville, VA, Louisville, KY, and Las Vegas, NV.
