Selina Hostel Now in Monteverde Costa Rica

A new location of Selina Hostel recently opened doors in Monteverde, Costa Rica, this is the tenth hostel the company inaugurates in the country.

Selina, named as one of the 2019 World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company, targets millennials and offers a hostel style lodging that includes services such as yoga, meditation classes, coworking spaces, concerts, cultural activities, workshops and also options for its clients to take part in social community programs.

“Monteverde is considered as one of the seven natural wonders of Costa Rica. This postcard-ready destination is one of the most popular places in the country, with a little something extra for ecotourists and thrill-seekers. Visit the cloud forest to see thousands of different species, take a coffee tour, or get your heart racing with bungee humping and canopying. Lizzy Contreras, spokesperson for Selina Costa Rica, this hotel offers a unique experience where guests are greeted around a chimney where they can roast marshmallow and drink “agua dulce”.

Selina Monteverde will maintain the mission of contributing with the community and the environment through different projects.

The hostel offers restaurant, WiFi, daily activities for guests, common areas such as kitchen, library and even a movie theater.

Local artists are responsible of the walls full of art of Selina Monteverde, artists Rodrigo Avalle and Gabriel Muñoz created a 32ft high, 16ft long, 9ft wide sculpture called “Clovi” which honors one of the oldest civilizations in America.
