Snow cones are a popular dessert in Costa Rica, and now you can enjoy them anytime you want and customize it according to your preferences.
“Taller de Copos” (snow cone workshop), opened its doors in the 7 Bancas shopping center in San Rafael, Escazú with an investment of around $60,000.00.
The concept offered is similar to the one offered by ice cream shops that allow you to choose the ice cream flavor and toppings.
“The majority of Costa Ricans have tasted the traditional ice cone, now we are offering the option of trying it in a different way. Taller de Copos offers a new and fun experience”, said Sebastián Burgos, one of the founders of this business.
Taller de Copos offers six different syrup flavors kola, moka, baileys, bubble gum, coconut and lemon; and toppings offered include powdered milk, condensed milk, ice cream, chocolate, Oreo cookies, among others.
The new snow cone shop opens Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Recently, the Italian franchise Stickhouse, opened doors in Costa Rica (Centor Comercial del Sur) offering handcrafted gelato sticks and plans to open 20 new locations in the next three years.
