Star Wars fans in Costa Rica will be able to enjoy once again the Star Fest in Avenida Escazu this Saturday, December 16 and Sunday, December 17, starting at noon and through 7 p.m.

“Star Fest is born in 2014 to begin a tradition in Costa Rica, is a special date for fans to share and celebrate as a family the passion for the Star Wars world”, explained Marco Morales, organizer of the event.

The activity includes workshops, recitals, videogames, comics, exhibits, costumes contest, and Jedi Challenges (See video below), among others. Since the premier in the country of the last Star Wars movie “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” will be today, Thursday, December 14, the activity is expected to attract many old and new fans.

Children and adults can take photos with Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Stormtroopers, Sandtroopers, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Kylo Ren, among other characters.

The event is free of charge, organized by StarFestCR a non-profit organization created by fans.
While visiting the Star War Fest guest can also see the “Wish Tree” which was recently inaugurated in he shopping center.
