“Deny everything. Admit to nothing. Maintain plausible deniability at all times.”  This is the new battle cry for former Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, former Hillary Clinton presidential campaign chairman, Jon Podesta, and Clinton herself as two new scandals broke late last week that may produce felony perjury indictments. The “deep state” people talk of in nebulous terms is becoming unveiled.

One scandal involves the salacious and unverified ‘Trump dossier’ that was apparently funded with $9 million provided by the DNC and Clinton’s presidential campaign, then paid to a group entitled Fusion GPS that penned the fake document as “opposition research.” Fusion GPS, based in Washington, DC, was founded in 2011 by a former investigative reporter for the Wall Street Journal. They specialize in “opposition research” for political candidates, according to Wikipedia.

Since early last year this dossier has been the primary source of accusations against President Donald Trump’s campaign for president of colluding with the Russians to influence the outcome of last year’s national election as widely reported on mainstream media. No hard evidence of any such Trump/Russia collusion has yet to surface.

Both Wasserman-Schultz and Podesta have testified under oath to congressional investigative committees that they had no knowledge of the dossier or who paid for it. Lying to the U.S. Congress is a felony-level crime. Their claim of having no knowledge of the dossier, where it came from and who paid to have it fabricated is beyond the pale. Someone high up in the DNC and the Clinton campaign had to sign off on $9-million in campaign contributions to pay for this phony document. None of this kind of thing is anything new coming from the Clinton camp.

The other scandal is this Obama-era Uranium One sale of 20 percent of the U.S.’ bomb-quality enriched uranium to Russia – a deal that came down in 2010 while Hillary Clinton was Secretary o -State and the Obama administration backed the secret deal and that was only learned about recently through an FBI informant.

Former President Bill Clinton gave a highly–paid speech in Russia at the same time in 2010. News reports say that nine Russian investors in the Uranium One deal contributed $145 million to the Clinton Foundation. There are three congressional investigations underway focusing on the Uranium One controversy. The FBI’s Uranium One whistle-blower/informant has been cleared to testify before these three congressional inquiries. For Hillary Clinton and her cronies these new scandals won’t be going away anytime soon.

Even the liberal editorial board of the Wall Street Journal is asking that special counsel and former FBI Director Robert Mueller resign because much of his investigation is obviously based upon the discredited dossier that was leaked to the media and reported as fact for more than a year.

In addition to the fake report on Trump, Mueller’s connections to former FBI Director James Comey, who has his own Clinton-related problems, and the hiring of many Democrat lawyers that contributed to Clinton’s campaign — taken together these are all pretty good reasons for Mueller’s departure. But there has been nothing to indicate Mueller’s demise. His investigation into Trump/Russia connections continues.

But sometime Monday or soon thereafter — CNN reports — that the first sealed indictment from Mueller’s probe will be served upon someone unknown. However, Mueller’s office has not confirmed CNN’s account. Speculation in the mainstream media is on fire: Is it Paul Manafort? Is it Michael Flynn? Is it Donald Trump Jr.? Or is is just more fake news?

The anti-Trump forces are claiming this indictment is the beginning of the end of the Trump administration. That’s laughable in light of what’s coming from the Clintons’ pretty sordid past.

For any sensible person these new scandals mixed with the history of the Clintons should get your attention and the attention of congress to finally hold the Clintons and the DNC accountable. Hillary Clinton late last week said the Uranium One deal had been “debunked” and the phony dossier was a bunch of the same old “baloney” from the conservative right.

The “deep state” is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as meaning “a body of people, typically influential members of government agencies or the military, believed to be involved in the secret manipulation or control of government policy.” In the case of the Clintons, were they making money off the sale of the country’s assets and public policy? Is funding fake campaign assaults upon your political opponent a wise use of campaign donations from unsuspecting and innocent voters?

President Trump won the presidency fair and square because he connected with the average American voter while Clinton did not. And we’ll know when Mueller’s investigation explodes or implodes when the smoke alarm goes off!
