A Costa Rican kayak guide is missing after he was dragged along with two tourists in Manzanillo, Limón.

The two tourists, a woman native of England and an Austrian man, were dragged close to 1.5 miles from the coast by a big wave. They managed to stay afloat and a group of locals spotted them and helped them out of the water with the use of a small boat.

The kayak guide however was not found and the strong current in the area complicated the work of the search and rescue team.
