Presidential politics these days is getting as surreal as a Salvador Dali painting.

Truth and reason have been thrown to the wind. Accusations and counter-accusations of political wrong-doing involving the Russians, possible wiretapping of President Donald Trump’s New York City residence, anti-Trump leaks of information from inside the government, multiple ongoing FBI investigations, and a sitting U.S. Attorney General recusing himself from campaign investigations only three weeks into his tenure.

Ever since last Tuesday’s presidential address to the nation, the sheer amount of accusations against President Trump by the Democrats and fully supported by mainstream media is staggering. They are coming at President Trump and his team as fast and furious as they can. It’s an all-out political war against Trump’s agenda and the Republicans, but the Democrats can’t beat Trump in the U.S. Congress. The Democrats are outnumbered, so they are creating a media feeding frenzy in their attempts to destroy President Trump in the arena of public opinion.

According to news reports, former President Obama’s new home in Washington, DC, is to become ‘ground zero’ headquarters for the anti-Trump forces determined to undermine his presidency and force President Trump from office. All the Trump team needs to do is park a video crew outside Obama’s home and watch who comes and goes, just like the media did at Trump Tower in New York City as President-elect Trump was holding interviews. This situation will not be not healthy for the Obamas with two teenage girls to raise in an environment of ongoing political hatred.

Thus far into Trump’s presidency it’s apparent that the Democrats still cannot accept this loss and they cling to their misguided theory that the Russians somehow meddled in the election causing Trump to win and Hillary Clinton to lose.

“They ignore Hillary’s infamous comment about deplorables. Remember, she branded millions of Americans racists, sexists, homophobes, islamophobes, who were deplorable and irredeemable. That revealed her view of every-day people. Applying nasty labels to millions of voters is not the way to win elections.” – said Stuart Varney on Varney & Company this week on FOX News.

On Sunday morning, as reported on FOX News, President Trump is now asking the U.S. Congress to investigate possible wiretapping of Trump Tower. However, Trump offers no proof of his accusations that his home was wiretapped shortly before the election in November. Through a spokesman, President Obama denies any involvement in any wiretapping of any U.S. citizen.

Looks like it’s all-dirty-politics-all-the-time with little or no progress for the American people, but that’s not true. President Trump is working to deliver on his agenda for America as outlined Tuesday night in his address to the nation. These political distractions, overblown by mainstream media, are not slowing down President Trump.

Looming on the horizon this month is U.S. Senate confirmation or rejection of President Trump’s U.S. Supreme Court nominee federal appeals court Judge Neil Gorsuch, of Colorado, to replace conservative Justice Antonin Scalia, who died last year. The Democrats will stop at nothing to block this conservative nominee. Senate hearings are due to begin as soon as the last of President Trump’s cabinet nominees is confirmed and sworn in.

It’s a safe bet Russian President Vladimir Putin is looking at the USA shaking his head while having a good laugh and another shot of Stoli vodka.
