W Hotel Reserva Conchal, Guanacaste, Costa Rica announced it will begin operations in November 2018.

The hotel, property of the company Florida Ice & Farm (FIFCO), “will have 151 guestrooms, the W Living Room lifestyle lounge, specialty restaurants a destination bar and lounge, infinity edge pool, a spa and meeting space”, details the press release.

This will be the brand’s first hotel in Costa Rica, offering also unique promotions, exclusive partnerships and their signature Whatever/Whenever service philosophy,

The hotel is part of a mixed used development in Reserva Conchal located in the Pacific coast province of Guanacaste, and that is property of FIFO since 2007, nearby facilities include an award-winning Robert Trent Jones II golf course, The Westin Golf Resort and Spa Playa Conchal, a mixed wildlife refuge and a variety of outdoor recreation and nightlife entertainment options. The hotel is located just 45 minutes from the Liberia / Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport.

FIFCO has given sustainability a big weight in its growth strategy, they have achieved certifications in carbon neutrality, Ecologic Blue Flag, recycling center, environmental education program, and the installation of the biggest solar energy system in the North Pacific of Costa Rica involving 1,382 solar panels. The company also recently announced the donation of a 940 square meter land for the construction of a police station in Brasilito.

W Hotel is expected to generate 300 direct jobs.
