The Walmart supermarkets in Costa Rica will offer discounts in around 3,500 products this Friday, November 4, 2016 in what they call “The Cheapest Day of the Year” event, this event also takes place in the different Walmart locations in Central America.

“The electronics department will have products with up to a 50% discount, while selected merchandise and clothing can be found with up to a 60% discount”, said Mariela Pacheco, coordinator of Corporate Matters of Walmart.

T.V. screens, laptop computers, appliances, audio equipment, cell phones, cameras, tables, video-games, are some of the items that clients usually look for in days of promotions and discounts.

The promotions will be available in the stores located in San Sebastián, Escazú, Guadalupe, Tibás, Curridabat, Cartago, Heredia and Alajuela, starting at 7 a.m., offers will extend through Sunday or while supplies last.

Last year Walmart sold 300 containers of merchandise in all Central America, this year they expect to sell close to 400 containers.
